Do It For You – No One Else

The above quote is one of my favorite quotes I have ever heard, and I have heard plenty. This quote has always rang a little bell inside my body for many aspects of my life. It simply annoys the living crap out of me when people are one way to a certain demographic, and are either another way to someone else, or not true to themselves. I could rant and rave about people being two faced depending on who they are talking to, but this post isn’t about that. This post is to tell you that if you want to get results, you must be honest with yourself and what you are doing.

Do You Think People Really Care?

I wrote a post on how honest gets results. Do you really want to be that person to always be a few pounds overweight, yet always tell people you are on a new diet? Do people really care what your current diet is? I can promise you if you want in lighter, leaner and healthier that will give a damn. But if you just give the appearance that you are trying, no one is really going to take you seriously. How do you honestly expect people to take you seriously if you can take yourself seriously? If you are not putting the time and effort in, tell people you are not putting the time and effort in. Your actions will speak louder than any words you will ever say.

It really gets to me that people don’t get this point: You are getting healthy for you. You don’t go to the doctors and have them tell you “you need to lose 30 lbs or your friends are going to have a heart attack”. Your health is strictly in your hands and is in your destiny. And explaining to people what you are attempting to do is not the way to save yourself. The way to save yourself is to take action, start getting stuff taken care of in regards to your life. Stop telling people what you are going to do and just do it. And while since you are taking mad actions to get results and not just speaking things that you aren’t doing, you can stop making excuses why you are at it.

Live everyday for you, and what is best for yourself. Do not get caught up in what other people are saying or doing. Just do it. You will live a happier, healthier life if you can accomplish this.
