It is very easy to get distracted in today’s world. Tweets, Instagram post, facebook blogs, and more media that we care to have gets thrown at us on a daily basis.

And it is very easy to get stuck down a rabbit hole with these posts. You see something that mild interested you – a few minutes later you are watching some kid bite his brothers finger.

Each loss of focus on one of these rabbit holes takes you out of your own mind, your own head, your own goals, and your own focus.

Staying in your own moment is how you get ahead – by focusing all your energy, focus and attention on getting yourself ahead in the world. When your attention dwindles and goes someplace else – that is when you start dropping energy, focus, and ultimately – vibrations to get to where you want to go.

And maybe you are OK with that. Maybe you don’t have goals, or dreams, or a perfect life that you want to live. That is fine – to each their own.

Or maybe you are frustrated with your current state – wondering why you work so hard, drive your life forward, and can’t really show much for it. You are tired of being overweight. You are tired of not having enough wealth. You are tired of the same old shit in your life day in and day out.

If you are the latter – I urge you to focus on yourself. Focus on your own focus.

Focus on Focus

"focusLife is such a wondrous adventure – if you treat it in the right way. Focusing with pig-headed discipline on your own life – your own goals – your own way of living is a powerful way to get your mind on the path to where you want to go. But as soon as we get sucked up into OPP (Other People’s Problems), we get distracted where we want to go. And every second distracted is a second off of your own life.

Yes – we should care about our fellow humans – that isn’t what I am saying here. If someone needs help, or someone to talk to, or someone to listen – be there. 100% of the time. The issue is when you scroll through instagram – how many people do you give your attention to that really shouldn’t have it?
